Mr. Ekkasit Lakkananithiphan

Ekkasit has been working for Dow more than 18 years.  He has experienced in many positions at Dow, from Sales, Marketing and Product Development, Green Field project management to Asset Management. Prior to the working time with Dow, Ekkasit also gained experiences working at Esso Thailand, which is an affiliate of ExxonMobil, in the role of Terminal Operations, Engineering & Maintenance and Refinery Optimization.

Since 2019, Ekkasit has assumed the role of General Director of Dow Vietnam. He actively drives progress of Dow’s businesses in order to support for Vietnam’s economic growth. As an importantly integral part of Dow’s mission to be a caring member of the Vietnamese community, he also drives progress of STEM education and sustainability programs.  Especially, he is one of the core founders of the recently established Public Private Collaboration to drive towards circular economy on plastic waste management for Vietnam.

Ekkasit holds Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from King Mongkut Institution of Technology Ladkrabang Thailand and Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Thammasart University, Thailand.
