Dr. Minu Ipe

Dr. Minu Ipe is the Knowledge Enterprise Architect and Senior Fellow for Leadership and institutional Design at Arizona State University. In these roles, Minu serves as an advisor to the President, working on multiple efforts that advance the design, strategy, and culture of ASU.  Based on a long-term view of the institution, her efforts focus on strengthening ASU’s capacity to advance its mission, at scale, with national and global impact. 

Minu leads several initiatives that build design and innovation capabilities at ASU. She works with leaders and units across the enterprise, providing design support for colleges and schools that are reimagining themselves and creates new ways to engage faculty, staff and students in deepening a culture of innovation.  Since 2012, she has designed and co-led multiple leadership development efforts to identify and support high potential talent across the institution. She is also a member of the core team that is advancing a University Design Institute at ASU, an entity that aims to leverage the collective design capabilities of the knowledge enterprise to advance both internal capability and drive impact at scale in the higher education space. Minu’s core purpose in her current role is to develop an enterprise that is capable of continuous adaptation, and is agile and sustainable as it designs itself well into the future.

She earned a Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota, an M.A. from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, India and a B.A. from Bangalore University, India.  Prior to joining academia, Minu held roles in the area of SAP consulting and Human Resource Development.
